Many of my friends often ask me about NFL Preseason betting and how difficult it is to bet on a winner. Some even ask whether it is worth betting on as they are no real statistics for the NFL Preseason since coaches will not risk their best players on a game that is more or less a practice game. Sure, you have lots of sportsbooks that will send out great NFL Preseason bonuses and promotions in the hope that you will start betting now but is it really worth it? When it comes to the preseason, its pretty much a 50/50 chance for a win unless we are talking about a very poor team laying the number one team in the league and even then, the odds will usually be so close that you might as well go to a Las Vegas Casino and put everything on black. To me, it all depends on your gambling bankroll. If you can afford to take a risk go for it. I will usually bet about $25-$50 on a game I am confident about. The trick to finding a game that has good odds in your favor of winning is guess the mindset of the coach.
If a coach really needs to prove to his team that they can do it because they either have a lot of rookies or had an awful season the previous year, they are more likely to push for a win to boost the team's morale.
